There are no set dues for membership in Pax Christi Baltimore or Pax Christi USA. Pax Christi Baltimore suggests that an individual donate $25 per year, and parishes or religious organizations donate $50 a year.

Of course, all members of a Catholic parish, academic institution, religious community, or Catholic organization—including clergy and staff—are encouraged to join Pax Christi. But all are welcome--including those who have left the traditional church structures. We emphasize that Pax Christi USA is listed in the Kennedy Directory as an official Catholic organization and has a Bishop President. Pax Christi Baltimore has had local Bishops as members, such as the late Auxiliary Bishop P. Francis Murphy, and has local clergy and members of local religious communities as members.

No. In fact, our membership area covers the greater metropolitan area, covering six counties: Baltimore County, Howard County, Harford County, Carroll County, Frederick County and Anne Arundel County.

Pax Christi recognizes the Church position towards abortion, but realizes that Church Social Teaching is not a single-issue concern. A host of issues are connected to Church Social Teaching and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCC) and Maryland Catholic Conference (MCC) are always advancing those concerns, in Congress and in the Maryland General Assembly. While Pax Christi Baltimore itself does not advocate on pro-life issues--because that advocacy is already ongoing--it does collaborate with groups such as Consistent Life, and participates in the local and national March for Life. Pax Christi Baltimore has developed programs and workshops exploring the common ground that exists between pro-life activism and peace activism on the parish level.
